hi, want book holiday , hotel china. uk , china 1 day ahead of when booking hotel...do book day meant arrive or day after arrive technically day after you're set arrive once you;re in china?

want spend 6 days in macau's banyan tree resort. want book ticket 22nd arrive in macau on 23rd. want book hotel day arrive using heathrow website (british website) according uk time zone,,,,so according heathrow arrive in macau on 23rd (according heathrow's time zone) book hotel 23rd or 24th..as think technically 24th in macau....does mean? please please help!
