Should i get my 10-13 year old cockatiel a friend?


never know beforehand if bird in residence along w new bird prepared have 2 separate cages on permanent basis. since birds territorial (just other living creatures) consider things in field of vision theirs. birds put in cage fight, can hurt or kill each other. fortunately cockatiels not aggressive species need time know each other. after quarantine period should live in same room in separate cages, giving them chance used each other.

we have female 10-13 year old cockatiel , thinking getting friend (boy) idea? she's been living alone life , think needs friend :)
