What the hell am i looking at?
time of year constellation of orion close eastern horizon shortly after sunset. because light stars near horizon travel through thicker portion of atmosphere, light stars subjected turbulence , particulates in atmosphere more stars closer zenith. result light stars near horizon distorted refraction , absorption. produces flashing , color changes have observed. common phenomena.
suggest @ same stars hours later in evening, when higher in sky, see how light changes.
look @ sky , flashing stars or appears stars. flash red,blue,green,white. hell looking at? know stars don't flash different colors. near orion's belt.
