Why is no gas coming through the radiators?


couple of days radiators in house not warming up, in past when turn radiator hear 'gas' come through radiator gets warmer, don't hear come through , radiators still cold. 2 days ago no gas coming through hob on cooker, came on yesterday , doesn't work today, gas has worked on oven, thankfully., there gas in plpaces , not in there is. have suggestions? (besides calling out engineer)
