My sub is producing bass with audio on mute?


sounds have ground loop. common causes of ground loops are,
bad head unit ground,
bad amplifier ground,
or shorted rca cable.

things try,
run small wire head units ground amplifiers ground.

ground rca shields head unit. in picture.

if amplifier bolted down metal in car, unbolt , put under not touching metal.

move amplifiers ground different spot.


if none of works , go stereo shop , ground loop isolator.

i have wired sub , when connect audio produces bass when on mute on head unit have checked grounding, live , accessorie live , keeps doing producing bass , when turn music doesn't match how bass should song.
