blue eyed author

blue eyed young girl,
ringlets bouncing in face
in room graffiti on walls
shy stenciled on threshold of room
fading remnants of shy,
translucent letters on windows
shy airbrushed on ideas

“she’s shy”
“she’s shy”
“don’t shy.”

blue eyes looked @
mirror
reflecting sunlight, faces, , occasional twinkle
not window bridges
real world , hers
own world

shadows in alley ways of new york city
hidden, timid, crumbled geometric black shapes
it’s shyness in rawest form
not beautiful young girl
not future
not mind can seen miles
in dark
blue eyed girl writes on walls of room
sprawling out ideas right hand,
handmade wallpaper
stories strung 1 another,
colliding next
there such storyteller,
in mind

ease of words stumble
car crash between light , dark,
contrasting blue eyes , shyness
shy put in way
contaminating whimsical mind
dreaming, believing, playing pretend,
writing passions on walls,
covered later graffiti

shy stenciled on threshold of room

shy airbrushed on ideas

has nothing
no words throw around,
let free red balloon in sky
knows better
speak when passionate
heard
graffiti fades time fades
spirals wooded staircase
sound of grown high heels
blue eyes meet room once again,
higher off ground
words still there,
cascading script grew clearer day
overpowering shy
, later published , signed
blue eyed author.
