I have these little gnats in my house... in the winter! What are they and how do I kill them?


we've had infestation of these little black bugs strikingly similar fungus gnats. thing not have plants in our house, nor have ever in last 4 years... still fungus gnats? have ruled out fruit flies - wrong shape/color. else be? don't bite, instead try fly in nose , eyes time - it's annoying. said, winter, have snow on ground here , temperatures below freezing. awesome!
