Traditional Christmas Meal?


1 day splurge. wife , have 2 adult children married, 1 adult child single , 2 grandchildren. son-in-law , daughter-in-law aboard, makes our little family 9 members strong.
3 years ago, daughter , husband treated of prime rib dinner @ house. chef!
since then, has been our new tradition, repeat turkey dinner , fix ins used have.
wife , have on over christmas day, after daughter , husband have own christmas @ house 2 children, aka 2 adorable grand kids.

relax , chill out , visit while prime rib taken out of oven , rests before carve.
after enjoy leisurely dinner , treat dog bones, open our gifts.
know may seem expensive, wife , save , spend less on other gifts , make dinner part of our christmas them.
dinner is: prime rib. twice-baked potato casserole, roasted asparagus, caesar salad, sweet corn (cause grand kids love it) , relish tray of imported olives.
