Why are 99% of the online shopping site wants full detail and account creation before showing me postage cost?


im getting bit annoyed, when shopping online cheapest price. every seller may have different postage cost. , 99% of them need me give out personal information. don't wanna give fake info in case seller cheapest , i'll have re-create account if want buy it. not giving out real name, address, phone number, dob , email(so can send u junk mail). waste of time type in information.

why don't let put in post-code , show total first? may not actual seller's idea, may web hosts design websites work that?
