Should I go to Korea or Japan?


i'm black female. i'm graduating summer 2013 md in cardiothoracic surgery johns hopkins. i've been offered internships in korea (seoul) , japan (tokyo) summer don't know 1 take. i'm fluent in japanese (i've been taking lessons since middle school) , adequate in korean (lessons since undergrad) i'm sure i'll fine in either country language wise. have friends both countries going each country teach, business, lawyers, etc. won't feel totally lost. have studied both cultures extensively in asian studies class. feel if prepared wherever go. however, i'm worried racism , how treated. country should choose? please tell me reality , don't sugarcoat it. people say korea great option japan has less racism. if internship evolves permanent job offer, want able have respect of colleagues , patients. know respect works both ways , i'm prepared give mine don't want people down on me because i'm black. i've talked counselor , said it's totally me. doesn't @ all. hear , thoughts everything. thank much!
