Will glasses make my eyesight worse? Honest answer please?


hi, went eye test around 3 weeks ago, , optician said i'm little short-sighted. said left eye seems near enough 20/20, right around 20/30's area. told me wear glasses full time because benefit them. although, have seen other people ask , have been saying make eyesight worse, because glasses make eye muscles weaker , makes eyes worse. dad disagrees though, , says because 13 , still growing etc etc, glasses might correct it? need honest answer... :)
