Ever received as a gift a pair...of ice skates :-) ?


yes, i've given , received skates gifts. of time, went pro shop fitted , wrapped holiday/birthday. on 1 occasion, wanted surprise future skater, printed out photo of skates, mounted on foamcore board (from craft store) , trimmed fit shape. wrapped in box gift certificate pro shop, went rink after christmas try on skates , take spin.

shops let buy skates give can later exchanged right size , model if haven't been used. ask exchange/refund policy.

don't buy cheap skates department store or sporting goods store or without skater trying them on. stores don't carry quality skates , typically don't fit anyway.
