budgie young tell gender using cere correctly. if want know gender @ age need gender test avian vet. budgie still has of head bars meaning hasn't had first molt yet occurs @ 3-4 months old.

sexually maturity occurs 6 months of age 1 year of age, , after have reached maturity cere can gender telling. when go through maturity release hormones , hormones change coloring of cere, why normal both male , female immature keets have pink , purplish cere, common, , why cere can't used @ young of age. luck keet!
