I just was ticketed for careless driving...but it was my first offense. I am 18.?


saturday (12/15/12) coming down hill (it steep) , speed limit 30. pumping brakes (my mini-van's brakes need replaced weren't working 100%). tires didn't have right air pressure either. not mention road bumpy little bit. turn had take decently sharp , coming doing 35 (speed limit 30)...but hitting brakes coming around bend , tires squealed little bit (not horribly, audible). then, cop coming hill of sudden turned on lights , told me pull over. did, of course. gave him license , registration. 5 minutes later came cruiser ticket. ticket $111 , labeled "careless driving." fine $25 looked mandatory $10 tax (so $35). why charged medical, fire, , ems fees when there wasn't wreck or anything? help. know going points on license (had license 8 months prior). meee :'(
