What could be killing the ducks?


live in quite rural village , had around 15 ducks roam fields own; though every couple of weeks 1 disappear thin air. no feathers, blood or indication may be. gone.

@ first thought fox or large bird neighbours said fox unlikely take 1 animal @ time , go whole lot; sister woke last night , saw animal in garden (she said large animal) , morning 1 of ducks has gone!

suggested cat; feral cat can big. valid?
