Can I use financial aid to pay for art classes?
yes--it depends on type of financial aid, yes.
colleges require meet academic counselor establish academic/education/plan before receiving federal aid.
also, aware there limit on how federal/state aid may awarded financial aid based on educational goal , received financial aid---regardless if above requirement applies college or not. instance, if education goal "bachelor's degree"--there might limit on how can borrow (student loan) , how can in form of pell grants in lifetime--regardless of academic progress gpa.
in other words, if take entirely art classes---just fun--and perform well, don't accomplish actual degree or major---you won't able forever.
however, can major in "art"---whether studio, design, art history, photography, graphic design, theatre art, multimedia art, etc.--if offered @ school---and degree---and take general education classes---and use financial aid pay art classes.
furthermore, if there specific, accredited vocational-oriented art school offers art classes, possible use financial aid pay that! in fact, there such institution in community offers photography extremely well-known , demanding , prestigious having proof of completion , graduation virtually guarantees jobs!
