My bird just flew out of it's cage?


got budgie today, , let him have few hours adjusting cage while petted him, beginning trust me he's letting me pick him , touch feet , head. got him out few minutes , sat on finger while listened quiet song, put him in cage, opened , flew out of it. didn't fly high around room couple of times tried grab him when flying , made him squeak. did best careful.
