What are some good ways to start off practicing the guitar?


got yamaha classical guitar purchased few months ago, never got around practicing yet because didn't know how to. looked on , saw these things guitars , didn't know start. learned chords , frets , stuff how re-string it. haven't learned tuning ear yet though. feel im ready start playing after long way start off? should practice or learn me play guitar right? im in 3rd year of high school , im planning on taking required music class next year , few music courses in college. should start off practicing , learning guitar? know few music teachers can me, they're not teachers know them enough have them me bit have work on myself too. if can learn how play guitar im gonna play out in streets near few tourist sites , earn alittle side cash can buy fender stratocaster.
