i'm studying medicine @ cambridge , studied following subjects:

chemistry, biology, maths , latin @ a-level , studied history @ level. medicine 1 of popular degree in subject , hugely competitive, going have study hard , stand out crowd.

medical students have studied 4 a-levels , not 3. while there's nothing wrong studying 3, it's best study 4 give chance getting medical school. need chemistry , biology, , science or maths subject. suggest study maths have lot of maths lectures , need able work out patient's medication dosage. 4th a-level choose subject that's irrelevant still academic , well-respected history, language, geography or english literature. medical schools see rounded student, give advantage.

need have a* in chemistry it's important subject - universities accept aim a*. biology , maths have aa too. 4th a-level should aim universities might lower b if subject well-respected , have done in other exams.

need take ukcat , pass flying colours. medical schools choose interview , give offes applicants whom in top 1%. if applying best medical schools are, imperial college, ucl, cambridge , oxford ned bmat. universities want best bmat grade , make offers based on - bmat want.

besides grades, ukcat (+ bmat) have have work experience , personality. luck x
