I hold my flute really tight?

there many elements contributing problem. without seeing , being able experiment it's difficult you. i'd suggest seek flute teacher in area. if can't afford lessons or don't want commit level, consider trying find teacher willing work short term. teacher able identify issues , set on path solving them.

when im playing tend hold flute tight. i'm not sure why this, affects playing (especially playing fast). have tips or suggestions me rid of habit?
