What grade would I be in if I went to public school?


i've been homeschooled life, , i'm trying talk mom letting me go public school next year.
turned 14 last month should in 9th grade next year. i'm few grades behind though,i started 5th grade january. have finish grade april, , i'm skipping 6th, have finish 7th july.
if went public school next year let me start in 9th grade, or put me in 8th?
