I'm having surgery in 2 days, HELP!?


i'm having surgery remove small painful ganglion cyst wrist (it rhymes, im aware) , first surgery. i'm 16. thing i'm scared, though minor operation. have anxiety, isn't helping , can't take medications before surgery. kinds of words guys have me? if you've ever had surgery on or surgery in general, how did go , put sleep? said choice of kind of anesthesia get, don't know differences. better in opinion? putting me sleep or numbing area? thanks!
