Can my school prevent me from dying my hair and having piercings?


i'm 15 , love dye hair. problem school has lot of rules how students , dress. rules "students cannot dye hair unnatural colours such blue, green, pink etc". hair purple-ish brown , hasn't caused problem want dye either blue-ish black or pink streaks.
piercings rules "no facial piercings". ask facial piercings remove them if refuse either exclude or put in seperate room else have carry on normal school work alone. make stay in room until take piercings out; 1 of friends has been in room since start of term because refuses take out snakebites.
question can school this? i'm not sure if students have rights or means should allowed how want. live in england, don't know if makes difference or not.
anyway, in advance answers :)
