2013 Subaru Outback 3.6R Limited AWD and snow chains?


honestly, given car, highly doubt you'll need chains, ever, in life, situation... subaru's infamous worid class winter driving capabilities. keep chains in car legal reasons i've never used them, cops can ticket if don't have chains in car road requires chains.

have impreza sti, 4 door sedan, live in canada, , i've consistently driven through 2+ feet of snow no issues whatsoever. extreme winter conditions joke outback long have winter tires, or @ least seasons.

if chains, nylon ones opposed metal ones. they're more gentler on car.

the manual says not use snow chains period. there small portions of road mountains big bear in california have use snow chains or can't go up. there type of snow chain can , use short periods (2 miles or so) @ time?
