Too old to become an engineer?


have registered , paid classes start working towards engineering degree. i'm 24 in theory should have degree in hand 29 or 30, old taken seriously? had bad grades in hs have found lot of motivation , huge interest in engineering uncle who's mechanical engineer.

bad decisions hs haunt career opportunities in future? want work space x or engineering company works rockets, space travel etc...

thoughts?
