Where is downtown LA?


downtown central business district of los angeles. it's businesses , has financial district , jewelry district. there headquarters of corporations, offices, etc. it's business area.

tourist attractions downtown include:
union station
city hall
disney concert hall
main library
chinatown
little tokyo
olvera street

there few excellent hotels, such biltmore, lot of shabby, dingy hotels. main shopping area downtown fashion district. jewelry district , toy districts downtonw too. these wholesale companies.

central city (skid row) downtown. there's large population of resident homeless there, of whom schizophrenic, alcoholic and/or drug addicts. make entire downtown dangerous after dark , on weekend. (the majority of offices closed @ times.)

wouldn't advise try staying in downtown l.a. area, it's dirty , it's dangerous.

malls scattered throught city restaurants. there no malls , no restaurants in downtown area.
