How to advertise my Photography Business?


advertising depend on type of clients trying reach ... type of photography want do? weddings, portraits, modeling portfolios, corporate head-shots , environmental, real estate, product photography ... on, forth.

each of above require different approach. wouldn't booth @ wedding show if trying corporate head-shots. wouldn't go door door businesses drop off info packets if trying weddings.

determine target market , build marketing strategy around client group.

aware you'll need spend money on marketing ... i'm spending on 6000$ on marketing efforts year.

on side note ... know didn't ask critique of work need work on fundamentals. of flaws i'm seeing caused facebooks crappy compression logic there's bad lighting, bad posing, blurriness going on on of work.

second image on exposed (clipped highlights on cheeks example , harshly lit.

need remove picture portfolio. has no place there.

might critique of work has nothing marketing has marketing. once in touch potential client, first thing ask see portfolio. if portfolio isn't snuff walk away.

need present best work, present in structured manner, need tailor portfolio client group.

right "portfolio" weak ...very weak.
