If I tell a teacher about past sexual abuse, are they obliged to report it?


sexually abused grandpa when 11. 16 , memories of haunt me. know need tell stop ruining me don't know how. need help.. feel head messed @ moment. can't tell parents... not yet. need deal myself before tell them.

thinking telling teacher. there 2 @ school possibly tell; both great , there help. know listen , care if told them. thing is, want support , advice of do.... best thing do. , don't know obliged when experience disclosure of abuse. have tell? i'm not in sort of danger... never see grandpa anymore (im not sure why). mum has started talking him again on phone... , think has started off in head... bringing memories.

anyway, if told them have report or able support in decide what, if anything, want do?
