sure, they're there. i've met chinese people living in calgary (alberta, canada) , in missoula, montana. matter, i've met chinese people living in central australia, , in edinburgh, scotland. shouldn't surprised see chinese people anywhere.

people's republic of china has 19% of world's population - 1 in every 5 people on planet chinese. there 4 times many prc chinese there americans (and that's leaving out global expatriate chinese population - maybe 50-100 million).

people's republic of china largest single owner of debt - china owns 28% of debt. during global financial crisis, treasury had talk chinese agreement on how how repair economy.

though united states dwindling superpower, , economy in decline, still attractive destination many migrants - carrying strong currency chinese yuan. can expect see lot more chinese in in coming 10 years - let alone next 50.

i notice chinese people in great numbers on coast think in 50 years there chinese in rural canada, nebraska, , vermont?
