Do you believe in love at first sight?

thinking when
accidentally stumbled upon
topic of 'love @ first sight',
or 'madness gods',
greek storyteller would've had it.

no confession, no comeuppance
have made me feel terribly guilty
of fact have never understood,
never recalled possibility of
falling in love in first place.

guess when happened:
if realize
has changed; change
slips conscience
pages of everyday life.

if agreeable consolation,
have started painting image
of in ancient walls of
imagination, stroking poignantly
splintered brush of memory.

, here now, sitting
still; hands under
chin, holding face; smile;
eyes, stare escapes
soft vellum arrive @ mine.

i, once, don't. it's quite romantic, possibility, image of such occasion. haven't tried express views on topic in poem, it's of abstract. i'd hear views.
