Yellow Stone Supervalcano?

volcanic activity @ yellowstone goes millions of years, caused moving hotspot, has had many eruptions, not classed "super" there can hundreds of thousands of years between these , last ~70,000 years ago smaller explosive eruption ~1350bc.
have not seen super volcano in recorded human history. @ least 1 has happening in pre history , human population thought have dropped ~75%.
effects of full on super volcanic eruption least catastrophic global temperatures drop several years ash cover portion of u.s. depth of meters, have global crop failure, have basic plot of hollywood disaster movie out cheesy sound track , uplifting ending.
event refer above affected humans happened during last iceage when planet cool , humans lived nearer equator, today have warmer planet ~8c , have added 1c temperature drop should not severe reduction in light affect plants , give out population , tight linkage food production face serious problem in event of serious food shortage.

there no doubt yellowstone erupt again may 5 years or 100 or 5000 or 50000 nobody knows. gap between these large eruptions thought 600-800 thousand years rough estimate.
