I have a new alto sax, but it won't play notes below a low G.?


given new alto sax christmas used play clarinet , wanted move onto saxophone. however, when try play, won't play notes below low g. sometimes, won't play g. instead play octave higher.

thought possibly broken, until brother decided wanted go. he's ever played guitar, blowing. however, him, playing lower notes - showing not broke @ , it's i'm doing (or not doing)!!

can please?!
