Why ar my two bearded dragons fighting?

if question why, cage. small. way never have problem male lizard have cage of @ least 1200 sq feet decor , furniture. obvi dont have space lizards have spererate. males reach sexuall maturity make territories , if other lizard goes there, may attack. if female attacking, is showing dominance

i have twi beardies 1 male , 1 female . both same size every time near each other female tryes take other ones arm off. broke toe
