Aircraft Fuel System jet pumps?

aware of jet pumps being operated in learjet airplanes -

non-mechanical - non electrical pumps - no moving parts -
"motive flow" (high pressure) comes fcu (engine fuel control unit) -

purpose normal feeding of engines fuel -
back-up 28v dc electric pumps (3 of them) located in tanks -
learjets "tip tanks" have 4 jet pumps - "longhorn" types have 2 jet pumps -

remove "water fuel"...? - kind of aeronautical magic that...?

edit -

know there positive pressure in tanks of airplanes in flight...?
feed engines - no need engines "suck fuel" tanks -
positive pressure coming from...?

since talk of learjet - here answer airplane -
there constant 0.8 psi ambient air pressure obtained ram pressure -
ram air pressure...? = think of pitot tube dynamic pressure -

in airliners, comes inlets near tip of wings -
@ inlet under expansion tanks - interconnected tanks -
pressure, proportional airspeed - there relief valves -
.

this may stupid question, jet pumps electrical or operate if there fuel pressure supplied engine driven pumps or electrical boost pumps. purpose? know can remove water fuel, why else used?
