Advice on putting my window cleaning customers on contract?
think customer's point of view. if can't think of kind of advantage them, won't able either. , if can't see benefit won't go it.
cannot see benefit residential customer. see window cleaner man turns in van once month , cleans windows tenner (or thereabouts). pay front want confident cleaner turn promised year. difficult consumers judge how is, unlikely take risk, if there discount offered paying in advance.
business customers might see advantage. paying more because have bigger buildings. discount significant. find easier assess trustworthiness of potential supplier. however, businesses unilikely agree pay front. commit contract, expect invoiced monthly (or quarterly) in arrears.
regardless of contract , on payment terms, need consider terms included termination - ie can terminate, when, , how.
i have window cleaning business, wondering if there benefit on putting customers on contract, pay 12 months worth of cleans front, think may complicate things?
