Investment: Gold vs. silver?


silver has been outperforming gold past decade or so. reason consider silver on gold because silver used lot in production of electronics. silver best known conductor of heat , electricity, means going metal of choice electronics distributors. therefore, there high demand silver in not jewelry industry, in electronics industry well.

myself invest in silver on gold , think it's better , safer bet. , cooler see 6 oz of silver coins/bars in hands versus 1/10 oz gold coin (which rather small).

i 14 years old , have enough money buy ~6.0 oz. of silver (generic coins) or 1/10th of oz. of gold (american eagle) recommend , why?
