What's a good instrument to play?


life pretty dull right now, think learning instrument might spice little. don't know pick, though. want sounds pretty. (in opinion if play more 1 instrument, easier or me in general) used play violin @ young age, after 3 years wasn't making progress quit. played piano 2 , half years, quit last year out of frustration. want more committed time. i'm girl, btw. i've been thinking of picking guitar, violin (again!), flute, or banjo, before choose one, want hear y'all's opinions should play.
