98 dodge ram 440 mopar?
440 within half inch of 360 dimensions exception of width difference 4 1/2 inches, there real possibility of width problem. such problems can overcome enough $$$$. careful cutting , welding of inner panels can overcome sheetmetal issues may find suspension components trying occupy same space wider engine or new sheetmetal panels @ full suspension travel, in case have consider relocating suspension mounting points if done haphazardly totally ruin suspension geometry , leave 2 tons of junk , 440 weighs in @ additional 110 plus pounds front suspension modifications in order. . . . plus . . .
need 727b transmission, new engine frame mounts (possibly fabricated $$$), possibly new transmission mount (again possibly fabricated $$$), new radiator, new transmission lines if automatic, new shifter linkage, engine wiring modifications oem 440's carburated (aftermarket efi available starting @ $2000+), new exhaust system, possibly new driveshaft, , other incidentals electrical tape, wire ties, fluids, etc. install.
of others have said, if want go larger, use 360 or stroker 360.
