Is this a good area to move in New York City?


live in harlem- not fan of harlem east of lenox ave. bit rougher west harlem , has not seen alot of benefits of gentrification: new shops, safety, ammenities, etc. personally, male in 20's wouldn't live in area. in 140's convent avenue , have seen new buildings similar tapesty in area. particularly on 145th , edgecome. opinions varied obviously, never go east of lenox, during day. i've been in area once, so.... may tougher person , may not nervous in area. if you, check out both @ day , night.. people forget check out areas @ night when looking move. if can afford tapesty (being doorman, newer building) have many more options in harlem , current resident, more west better area more ammenities.

ok know harlem isn't best place live, area (posted below) in harlem? yes or no? female in 20's. please honest. love place.
