Rats In My Garden Please Some Help And Advice?


hello, spring last year doing gardening down bottom of garden , other stuff that, moved plant pot out way , huge rat jumped out kind of cornered , ran off under crate thing that's under ferret hutch dog in garden @ time , got stick , started poking under create came out , dog chased around garden dog caught , rat bit dog on nose... once dog bitten it dead bit big knew sure rat. after spring , summer went went on , there no rats in garden had sure! 2 weeks ago cleaning out garden shed keep bikes , tools etc moved shelf , shelf , seen shredded news paper , think rat poop 14cm long kept newspaper in shed ferrets bedding. cleaned , found huge hole in shed rats must have been getting threw! decided go , buy trap @ shop did , put peanut butter on put in shed left 2 days , went see smaller looked mouse or baby rat although lighter rat think. put in carrier bag , binned it. 2 weeks passed , looking around shed , seen little run inbertween 2 plant pots , see grass flattened. moving seen huge hole! sh** self. went kitchen , got useless cup , put peanut butter in bleach , other cleaning things put in hole rock over. went next day , gone? dint know do. garden little cluttered behind , around shed old paving slabs building stuff. im worried in case rats find way house! bugging me put ferret down rat hole because ferrets have real working ferrets , go down rabbit holes catch rabbits. understand have racing pigeons , have been putting corn out them when picking around on ground , ha vent been eating of theta id has advice please dsp need rid of these critters before me house.!!!
