suppose higher resolution monitor may effect longevity of gpu. not in significant way. , if true guess difference in life span fraction of percent. happen because there heavier load on card due higher resolution. size doesn't effect resolution. in fact screens 1080p or below

recommend gtx 480. $200 dollars dont think better

is true bigger monitor...the faster graphic card wears out,and whatis great under $200 graphics card dell xps 8500 desktop - intel core i7-3770 3.4ghz, 16gb memory, 2tb 7200rpm hdd
