How old was the Oldest Skeleton of Human Ancestor ever found?


oldest human skeletons date around 2 million years ago - remains of homo habilis, first being in direct ancestral line modern humans us.

if want oldest "ancestor" depends how far want go. have fossil remains of beings, names ardipithecus. these in line of descent led humans - aren't "human"; closer common ancestor humans share chimpanzees (about 6 million years ago).
