I would like a turtle for my birthday..how can I convince my parents?


birthday in week , love turtles. think neat have 1 pet. problem getting parents agree. don't ask much, , i'm not greedy or anything. told them thing birthday, said in case i'm getting nothing. have had hamsters, hermit crabs, , birds pets. have 2 birds , responsible taking care of them. think mom me on (my dad makes decisions) since cares animals, don't have on side. aunt doesn't find wrong , tried tell mom that, got mad @ me it. :/ claims smell , everything. haven't discussed dad, because may ruin chances right there. figured if mom favor idea influence dad yes, none agreeing me. anyways, need make mom/dad change mind. thanks!
