How to dress for snowy NY weather?


going ny few days around new years. checked going in 30s , supposed snow! im la , never snows here!!! have no experience snow whatsoever. havent been in snow before in life! im clueless on wear.
havent bought clothes yet , our flights in couple days d: need know wear, far boots jackets pants hats gloves works , that. please give me favorite brands , pictures help. tips appreciated on ny wweather or else. ok thank :) btw im girl haha
