98 Ford Taurus front end noise.?


98 taurus 200,000 miles has front end noise-sounds metal bang. when suspension compresses coming down speed bump there knock on left side. when braking or accelerating hard , turning wheel left or right @ same time worse. ball joints haven't been done in @ least 50,000 miles i've checked them , can't find play. has new sway bar link ends. struts original. pulled wheels , seems tight. car tracks straight @ highway speed , there no tire wear. visual inspection revealed nothing amiss. !!!
