Could Europeans and Asians have gotten their African DNA from later interbreeding but originated separately?

there's no reason think europeans , asians got african dna later interbreeding.

europeans & asians , africans have more dna in common, have different. implies 3 groups shared common origin, drifted apart. if europeans & asians originated separately africans, , later interbred them, we'd expect find different dna overall, areas in common - not other way round.

multi-region hypothesis pretty wiped out rebecca cann's discovery of mitochondrial eve in 1989 - humans alive today descended same woman lived in africa, around 150,000 years ago. later discovery in 1996 human males can trace y chromosome common ancestor reinforces idea: descended same small group of humans lived in east africa.

in light, other answers shansi, kevin7 , alwyn p correct. same , africans.

it's still open question how interpret evidence modern humans appear have dna in common ancient humans in different regions - neanderthals in europe , denisovans in east asia. see example, 3rd link below - it's possible apparent similarities between europeans & asians, , neanderthal dna result of shared ancestry rather interbreeding.

there evidence suggest in past, african modern humans interbred more ancient humans (see 4th link below). difference can associate genetic material in europeans & asians neanderthals , denisovans, don't (as yet) have specific hominid fossil associate africans.

answer wolf long, pretty useless. detailed critique tedious (and pointless). *think* saying out-of-africa hypothesis has been superseded migration matrix theory. actually, migration matrix idea minor tweak on out-of-africa; still assumed humans originated in africa, @ both stages (australopithecine , h habilis time frame) , @ recent emergence of modern humans, around 200,000 years ago. wolf makes few basic errors. when says "lateral gene transfer" means hybridisation; no-one has ever suggested there lateral gene transfer between neanderthals , modern humans! last sentence of answer totally nonsensical: no researcher has suggested modern humans carry mitochondrial dna neanderthals. quite opposite: neanderthal mtdna not similar modern mtdna @ all.

answer pharaoh repeats mistaken idea albanism , pale skin colour related. incorrect. albanism different phenomenon entirely.

in short - yes, africans: europeans, asians, , other peoples of world including still living in africa, our ancestral homeland.

hope helps.

is possible africans, europeans , asians evolved in different places got african dna interbreeding in later times instead of carrying ancestors 200,000 years ago?
