How carbon monoxide(CO)is formed inside a house and how to prevent it ?

2. if there fireplace, flue damper may closed causing smoke stay in house
3. if there space heater, might not drafting air sufficiently burn gas. space heaters dangerous if not vented outside. sure burn invisible blue flame, yellow flame sign of incomplete combustion.
4. if there gas clothes dryer not vented outside
5. if central heating system has automatic flue damper, might stuck closed.
6. using charcoal hibachi or bbq grill indoors
7. using kerosene lamps indoors

electrically operated appliances, including refrigerators not produce gas or co.
house shut tight , has little ventilation outside air susceptible co gas build on time. advisable "air out" home @ least once week opening windows , doors , running fans few hours. reduces build of radon, methane (sewer) or other toxic gases.
