What are good places to visit during a trip from Seattle to Portland?


there aren't many interesting places go on way down portland besides great wolf lodge (which pointless if aren't going stay overnight) , outlet mall. it's rural area whole way down, or sketchy little towns aren't nice @ all. if you, i'd wait tour around until arriving in oregon! when you're there, can go clackamas town center, multnomah falls (if weather decent), voodoo doughnut, powell's books, downtown gresham... etc etc.

im heading portland week. places visit/take break on way down there?
