feed dried shrimp , pellets on vet show thing on television lady said dried shrimp has no vitamin needs , it's not healthy turtles , causes bumps on shell of turtle , need feed pellets.

feeding common musk turtle sherman shrimp , pellets last 10 months , nothing happend shell.what's lady on about? he's healthy , has no bumps on shell.i check shell every week while i'm cleaning out tank.
