Question about magic and pokemon tcg tournament rules?


know magic, assume same applies pokémon.

in magic, depends on format you're playing. common standard, in case cards 2 recent blocks allowed, core sets rotating @ same time block before it. currently, legal sets innistrad block, return ravnica block, , 2013 core set. when 2014 core set released, legal too. when first expansion after core set released, push out innistrad block , 2013 core set.

however, card legality name. example, can use vampire nighthawk zendikar set though zendikar isn't legal, because vampire nighthawk in 2013 core set, legal.

different formats have different restrictions, check them out find out sets , aren't legal.

im noob (obviously) if have pokemon cards 1995 can use them in tournaments, , if not how new have
